This is a picture of Mattheew with his uniform on. He has a black band on his badge for mourning. A member of the Mudlick fire dept was killed while loading hay. Matthew had a part in the services. Mudlick was called out on this accident but didn't know til he got there who it was. Everyone who was on the scene had to go thru mental screening. This was the first real bad thing that Matthew had seen. It was made harder because he knew the man personally. Check out the shiny shoes! Didn't know it was that hard to find till you start looking for them.
